Milan continues their winning streak with a 2-0 over Catania. The scoreline would have been atleast 4-0 if Inzaghi was didn't have an off day at the field and Kaka was a lucky. Now we are still 7 points behind Inter, but are doing well to main our 2nd spot in the table.

According to the form guide, AC Milan for past 2 weeks are the most inform team in Europe. It proved in our match against Torino where we thrashed them 5-1, another set of hatricks by Pippo Inzaghi who seams to have a problem of not stop scoring hatricks!

The reason of my absense the fact that we were not even a shadow of our team last few months, sometimes I couldn't even recognize the Rossoneri team. But slowly, hopefully things are going to get just better.

So it's now official that Becks will enjoy us at least untill July.. What are you thinking?! He 33 years old! I mean we cannot spend money for a 33 years old! Come on.. We should get rid of him at the end of the season. We should also get rid off Senderos, Favalli, Sheva and Nesta. Obviously we will need to buy someone for the defence zone, some young cheap TALL and strong! T. Silva and Mattioni are a good start.. but we need someone else.. One of the things I will miss about our great icon, il Capitano ; Paolo Maldini is how he handles the media and often outspoken bosses. When Jose Mourinho was caught insulting the great clubs like Juve, Roma and even Milan, saying they wont win a single trophy this season. Our Captain steps in and in 1 sentence completely slaps him down, it made me laugh so hard! Love you man!! Long live Maldini!!!

Whenever a team plays poorly and have a string of bad results, its very easy to point finger at the coach. Hence that is the case with Ancelloti and Milan. So is it Ancelloti's fault that we are having such a bad spell in this season? If you ask me, absolutely bull***. Let me tell you this, he won us 2 champions league trophies in just 7 years, add other trophies like World Club Cup, European Super Cup. So a great coach like Ancelloti cannot just turn bad overnight you know, so who is to blame? Remember, football is always, ALWAYS decided on the pitch, no matter of tactical pre-planing will make you win games. Coaches are like a guide to a team, sort of like teachers to students. We all know that no matter how hard a teacher tries, he cannot make the students do well unless they themselves get invovled. Similarly, our Milan players throughout the season are very very lackluster with no sense of urgency, I am talking about most players with few exceptions. The club should acknowledge this fact and study the workrate of the players, and boot the player(s) if they fall short.

The LA Galaxy rejected million's offer of 3 $ million for David Beckham. In response to that, Galliani said that they will not 'break the bank' to get this deal done. For once, I agree with Galliani, considering the age of Beckham, its more than enough for the player. Besides, we need to look forward to the next season where we will have entirely new backline.

Werder Brema VS AC Milan

After the winter break is finally Europe time again.. Last night Milan scored (as always with our MAGICIAN Pippo Inzaghi) in the first half of the match.. and unfortunately we ended up with a draw in the latest minutes of the game! Man we got to pay attention till the game is over!!! Senderos was embarassing.. He is no longer the Arsenal's star we used to know.. Bonera but especially Favally (He's an evergreen!) and Zambrotta played an awesome match! They really did.
Midfielders like Ambrosini and Seedorf performed an ordinary match.. they did a good job. But my surprise came from Flamini! What a match! He is now starting to get Italian football, he could be very useful from now on.. Way to go Mathieu! Another surprise came from Dinho.. but not a good one! After the derby we all were expecting an awesome game.. but he disappointed us all.. I can even count how many time the Werder's players took advantage of his mistakes! But if you want someone who can always assure you some goals in Europe you just have to call Mr. Pippo Inzaghi! One goal only.. but he got close to score in the second half of the match.. How unlucky! We can be satisfied from the result after all.. Now we have to play a good match in San Siro!

You wont win. Last match might very well have ended our title hopes. We are up against a great compact team like Inter, we lost...undeservedly. I am not a sore looser, it just every referee decisions went against us. Inter's goal came from Adriano which he headed and conveniently touched his hand and went in, it was clearly a hand ball. Then in the 2nd half Ambrosini (Milan) was put down in the penalty area, it was clearly a fowl in the area, replays confirmed it, but referee said no no. That's not all, a goal came later on from us by Inzaghi with a fantastic half volley, which was disallowed....why? It was close to offside (it wasn't). When you add such external anomalies in a match, not a team in the world can win. It was the last derby della madonnina for The Captain, I am so sad we wont be seeing him ever again in the same match against the red/black, thanks for everything for the past 24 years or so.

Beckham is 'halfway to Milan'

David Beckham has reportedly agreed personal terms for a permanent move to Milan, leaving the Rossoneri to cement a deal with Los Angeles Galaxy.

The 33-year-old is supposed to return to LA at the start of March when a three-month loan spell expires.

But Beckham has made it clear that he would rather stay at San Siro and the club are determined to ensure that happens.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have come to an agreement with Beckham that would see him earn around £4m per season and keep full image rights.

However, for any transfer to take place, the Diavolo will have to get the go-ahead from Galaxy, who are likely to try and keep their grip on their prized asset.

It has been reported that Milan will offer a modest fee of £4.5m for Beckham's signature.

Meanwhile, Beckham's lawyers are looking for a way to make the move legal in spite of the fact the transfer window has closed and the midfielder is tied to his current employers until June 2011.

Awesome news, lets hope we see Beckham in the permanent Rossonero jersey soon!

So.. Milan-Genoa.. the first half was pure fun. Milan played an awesome first half, unfortunately in the second half we looked tired and not so effective as we were in the first par of the game. After all the result is in my opinion correct.. we had some chances to close the match but we didn't use them wisely. Congrats to Genoa by the way cos this team really impressed me. Now I'm gonna post players' reports cards so the people who didn't see the match can at least see how ours guys played.

Wow 4 goals.. what an awesome match guys! I was a bit worried before the match you know giving how it went the last time, and I must say that after Di Vaio scored the first (and last) goal of Bologna my fears grew. But then Seedorf and after him Kaka and again Beckham took care of it!! Plus Pato and Antonini did a good match too as all the team. That is except Senderos.. but that was his first match and I say we should give him some more time!

This is good news, considering we are in the midway to the season and this is the most crucial time towards any season. A World class center back like Nesta is the key for winning and most importantly, keeping clean sheets. He should be ready within a month.

Kaka chooses Milan over Money

This proves it, the fact that Kaka is a one in a million. Its never been recorded in history that a player worth so much, willing to put money aside over loyalty, Kaka not only penned himself as a true Rossonero, but a future Rossonero captain.

A statement confirming Kaka's departure was expected within the next 24 hours, but Berlusconi has made an amazing declaration.

I want to start this article saying that I'm sick and tired of all the Kaka-Milan-City situation. Milan has always been a winning club, but more than that, a SPECIAL club. Milan has always given more the idea of a huge family than a fotball club. In the last few hours we have seen and heard all sorts of things that made all us, Milan's fans, worrying about our "fotball-family" future. Is this the beginning of a new era? If Kaka actually go to City, this will be the start of a new type of fotball, and I'm not sure that I, as a human being and as a Milan's fan, will be able to enjoy this. Maybe it's time to think carefully about the consequences of this decision. The ripercussions would be devastating for the WHOLE football world. Today you are gonna lose a champion, tomorrow you are gonna lose a fan.. and football is gonna lose its soul.

Tensions high over Kaka's future

There are mixed coming on Kaka's future. A spokeperson says that Kaka will be a Milan player, while the new on the otherside states that Kaka already signed for Manchester City. Reagrdless, fans are protesting over this at the Milan headquarters at Via Turrati, saying Kaka is untouchable. Now this is serious, if Milan actually sells the player on their will....there will be a huge outcry from the fans, it will greatly damage the reputation of AC Milan.

I myself is praying every moment I can, wearing the Kaka jersey all day. Sent emails to the AC Milan.com pledghing my support for Kaka to stay. I suggest everyone to send emails to AC Milan.com, the more the better.

English stirs up rumors again

When english clubs have nothing to do, they try to stir up rumors and make their Italian brothers look bad. Thats the case with Manchester City, the club thinks that just by having capital, you can become a champion. They want to lure Kaka with their 'sensational' bid, but Silvio and more importantly Kaka flat out refused it.
“I want to grow old at Milan,” Kaka insisted to Sportmediaset. “I have already turned down some important offers.

“My objective for the future is to become captain of this team. I know that there is a hierarchy here and Paolo Maldini and Massimo Ambrosini are first, but after them…”

We are back!

Sorry its been so long, it was my first semester so I had to be away to get to know things better. But I can assure you from this day onward, I will regularly update the blog. I am looking for 1 or 2 writers for the blog. If interested, hit me in the comments below! So lets move onto the Roma match.

The game ended 2-2, as we were away to Stadio Olimpico and were trailing a goal thanks to Vucinic, but we fired back 2 goals in quck session in the 2nd half to take the lead. But again were down leveled by the another Vucinic goal.

Again, the problem was not upfront, but at the back with the aging defence. We played well, created chances and we took them later in the 2nd half thanks to Pato. But all this worthless if we conceede goals so cheaply. Its becoming a really bad habit that we conceede just after taking the lead, this far from acceptable. I hope Carlo focuses on more defensive football, bring the classic Rossoneri team back. Heck....we need to rejuvenate the back line, Thiago Silva the most recent Brazillian talent bought by Milan is still a long way off, Nesta injured which leaves Kaladze and aging Maldini. Despite Galliani saying there will be no such buys in the transfer market, I highly doubt Milan can even reach the top of the table without forking some cash for a defender. As for bright news, Pato and Ronaldinho played really well, Kaka plays great as always and Beckham proved quite good even though I am not a big fan of him.

Hope we can move to winning ways from our next match against Fiorentina.

Last nigh Milan played one of the best matches of this year. We should have won.. but we didn't. That's ok, we can accept that. This is football once you don't lay that well but you win, once you play a great football but you don't win.. That's the beauty of it..
What we show last night was pretty amazing.. the team is "healing", the team is stronger and stronger match after match. Remember: lucky comes and lucky goes.. but talent never leave..

We beat Siena thanks to goal from Supper Pippo through a great assist from Gattuso in the 30th minute; also a goal from Kaka by a penalty because of foul over Pippo. We did conceed unluckily 54th minute but managed to hold on to a 2-1 victory. Now this leapfrogs us to the third of the table just 1 point from the leaders Udinese, but more happily in front of Inter!. Hope we continue to get 3 points and put distance betweem ourselves and the contenders. Our next match is a difficult game against Napoli.

Make way for the Dream Team

David Beckham will be joining the Rossoneri starting this new year. While many dont like this move, but in all honesty I think the guy is a good addition to the squad, as you possibly cant argue with his free kicks. Also With Milan dividing into Serie-A and UEFA Cup, its best to have a squad with depth and having Beckham will provide us a player that is similar to Pirlo (may not match his standards). Also with Kaka, Ronaldinho, Shevchenko, and now Beckham, its clearly is packed with Superstars. Here is what Galliani and Ancelotti had to say:

Milan trash Samps 3-0 thanks to Dinho double and the poacher

AC Milan nailed Sampdoria 3-0 with a penalty from Ronaldinho. Ronaldinho doubled the lead later with a great exchange in passing between him and Kaka and buried it with a cross shot. Later "The Poacher TM" Inzaghi scored his first goal after his long layoff by recieving the ball at the edge of the area by Ambrosini and finished it as you'd expect him.

This is great stuff, we never look to conceed. And to naysayers everywhere, Milan have the magic to bring any player back to his former glory.

Zambrotta Happy about Azzuri's performance

Gianluca Zambrotta was proud of Italy's performance in last night's win over Montenegro.

The Milan defender played a full 90 minutes as the Azzurri saw off Montenegro 2-1 in Lecce after a 0-0 draw in Bulgaria at the weekend.

“We played better against Montenegro than we did against Bulgaria from an offensive point of view,' Zambrotta told Sky Sport 24.

“We created more, perhaps as a result giving away a little more at the back, which is inevitable.

“I think we had lots of chances, but the main thing is that we got the three points and we are top because you can't always play spectacular football.”

Marcello Lippi called up four new faces for the last two World Cup 2010 qualifiers.

“The boss is weighing up several new and young players,” Zambro said.

“With players like Simone Pepe, Riccardo Montolivo, Giuseppe Rossi, Christian Maggio and Fabiano Santacroce determined to prove themselves, the Azzurri side can only benefit.

Milan might snatch Fabregas

Sorry guys, I couldn't update the blog as I have been really busy with the the univeristy stuff and with the midterms coming up and all. Anyways lets move to the point shall we, there is a chance Milan can lure the promising Spaniard next season.

Milan are looking to the future with bids for Joao Moutinho and Cesc Fabregas as well as hiring Ruud Gullit as a talent scout.

Andrea Pirlo’s injury has ruled him out for two months and this has again shown there is no real tactical replacement for him in the deep midfield role.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the club is already looking to next season with an attempt to solve this quandary.

They have locked their sights on to Sporting Lisbon star Joao Moutinho, who has a contract until 2013 and an expected price-tag of £20m.

Moutinho is an attacking midfielder who has been transformed into a playmaker in front of the defence.

However, the ideal candidate to reinforce the squad next season is Arsenal star Fabregas.

He had already been tempted into a move by Real Madrid, but currently remains in the Gunners line-up after winning Euro 2008 with Spain.

Milan are planning for the future by looking to the past, as legend Gullit has been hired as a talent scout for the club.

The Dutchman will watch over the North European players to find the best new prospects for Carlo Ancelotti.

We take the derby for the consecutive time thanks to a wonderful towering header by ronaldinho made possible by the precision cross from Kaka. Both of them combined really well throughout the match, and if it weren't for great goal keeping from the inter keeper, there would have been 2 goals for dinho and a goal by Sheva. Regardless Inter created some good chances, but we managed to hold them back. Now if we win the next on, I think am sure we are back.

Its called the Derby della Madonnina, or the Milan Derby. It dates back to 1908, issues over the signing of foreign players led to a split and the foundation of F.C. Internazionale Milano. This started a now historical rivalry between the two cross-town clubs, a rivalry especially heated since Inter broke off from AC Milan. The most notorious scoreline in the history of this fixture came in 3 March 1918, when Milan thrashed Inter 8 goals to 1. I MEAN HOW COOL IS THAT?!

The most infamous of the derby matches between AC Milan and Inter was the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinal on April 12, 2005.

With Milan leading 1-0 (and 3-0 on aggregate) thanks to an early Andriy Shevchenko goal, Inter's hardcore supporters became infuriated after a second-half Esteban Cambiasso score was controversially nullified by referee Markus Merk who, moments later, booked Cambiasso for dissent, due to the fact that he had just whistled an Inter player for a foul on Milan keeper Dida. Bottles and various debris were subsequently thrown onto the pitch, but soon escalated to lit flares. As Dida attempted to clear bottles in order to take a goal kick, a flare hurtled down from the upper deck and struck the Brazilian on the back of his right shoulder. Merk halted the match at the 74th minute. After a thirty-minute delay in which firefighters were called in to remove the burning flares from the pitch, the match was restarted. Dida, however, was unable to continue, and was substituted by Christian Abbiati. Less than a minute later, though, Merk finally abandoned the match after more flares and debris rained down. The match was awarded as a 3-0 victory, totaling a 5-0 aggregate, to Milan. “The difference was we tried to play with more depth and movement, spreading the play, and I think we did it well. There was less close passing and more pace.

Carlo ain't going nowhere...lol

Finally, not only this is an oustanding win but I saw the image of the "old" milan, lets just say the devasting counterattacks are back. It really felt as if everyone bombared the Lazio goal, even Zambrotta with his outstanding 31 meters strike. Seedorf scored from a Kaka assist from the left. But Lazio got one back by Mauro from the penalty box. Just when you think an inevitable Lazio goal, Zambrotta fires a rocket that hits on the top right corner. Things dont stop there, in the 2nd half Pato's amazing form kicks in.. or should I say heads in a wonderful Janku cross. 3-1! Then the main man, who just came off the injury showed us why is one of the, if not. the best player of the world. We begin to see Kaka passing by 3 players easily and firing off a shot, it was missed barely. Then it came, the signature Kaka move when he danced his away across the left hand side and fired a carefully controlled curled shot and went in, no chance for the keeper.

I cant tell you how much I am excited by this match, not only because we won against a very good side, but mostly of the free flowing counterattacking football Milan is known for. My colleagues will fill in from their perspectives. Video highlights are coming soon.

Basically in my opinion all (or at least most of the) problems are coming from baaad summer signings.. Too much up there, noone new back in the defence zone, except from Senderos. Ancelotti asked for certain kind of players like Adebayor and they bought Ronaldinho because Adebayor was too expansive. I can agree with that.. but Amauri was not that expansive and he would have been such as good as Adebayor. After that they bought Sheva. Three mistakes were done with his signing in my opinion: first of all he arrived too late, I mean he spent like 3 days with the rest of the team before the beginning of Serie A and of course Ancelotti didn't have much time to study a proper solution; second of all Pato seemed to have suffered all the competition up there, in fact since Sheva arrived he is not the Pato we used to know (and love) last year. Third and last point is about Paloschi. This year Milan is playing Coppa Uefa (unfortunately) and this is the kind of competition where a young player like Paloschi can start his approaches to international competitons; but what we did was "half-selling" him to a Serie B team. I want to point out that Paloschi was in my opinion the player who showed the best things in the summer matches.
I mean who can honestly blame Ancelotti for this situation?

With the 2 back to back defeats in the hands of the sides like Genoa and Bologna, Carlo's job is just hanging by a thin thread. Despite the squad makeover, we still didn't win a single official match. Unlike last season however, Milan created loads of chances but didn't capitalize on them and were punished with 2 goals against Bologna. The problem I can see is that the team really needs to gel things together, there should be a decent level of team chemistry which is missing in this team, they really need to work fast on improving on that and win from next match onwards. As not only the Scudetto is fading away......so will the Coach.

The Milan and Italian President Silvio Berlusconi said that bringing Shevchenko back did not involve Kaka in any way. In fact, he goes on to saying the same line he is been saying for the past seasons, Kaka is not for sell.

There were rumors the sticking point in the Sheva transfer was only overcome when an option on £100m Real Madrid and Manchester City transfer target Kaka was included.

“I absolutely did not promise Kaka to the Blues or indeed anyone else. That is just not going to happen,” the patron told Telelombardia.

“I know some weren’t too happy about Sheva’s return, but he is a great player and I am convinced the fans will be very pleased to have him back in the Rossoneri jersey.”

Kaka is expected back this week in a friendly test so he can make his seasonal debut in Serie A against Genoa.

The English papers really upped their bad mouthing about Italian football over the weeks, and finally someone comes forward like a gentleman tells them to SHUT THE F*** UP!

An article in The Times recently described Italy's top flight as “a retirement home for old players” and “a get rich quick scheme.”

However, Zambro, who moved from Barcelona to Milan at the start of the summer, has defended his homeland.

“What makes me laugh is that the English are always the first to talk when they should be the last,” the former Juventus defender growled.

“They should take a look at themselves because they didn't even qualify for Euro 2008.

Milan started its new season with a 2-1 defeat against newly promoted side Bologna.
Ambrosini scored for the Milan team,while Marco Di Vaio and Francesco Valiani scored for Bologna.

Nothing to worry even though Milan lost,but they played excellent it was just Bad luck thats all.The two goals scored by Bologna were difficult to stop.Abbiati can't do anything about it.Ronaldinho played an awesome game this shows he is totally happy at Milan made Ambrosini's goal and created lot of assist.Zambrotta had a great game.Shevchenko,Inzaghi and Pato didn't shine that much but still there is room for improvement.

Trimming the Squad

Unfortunately, when you have a big squad packed full of stars as Milan, you have to let some go (even if only temporarily). Despite how best effords, Alberto Paloschi will be joining Serie-B side Tardini on a loan deal. While this might sound really bad move in the part of Milan, but if you look at it the squad in the recent weeks have been packed full of stars from top toe bottom, with the arrival of Shevchenko, he might not see much action, as borrielo and inzaghi is also fighting inthe fron with more experience. This is really good news for us, as we can send Paloschi (who is only 17), for a 1 more year to gather more experience and return to Milan as better than ever. He is himself is happy with the deal:

“There are great champions at Milan and there wouldn't be that much space for me,” he admitted.

“Here, on the other hand, I will have a chance to play and to grow. It could be an important springboard.

“I have played several games with Milan this summer and I have 90 minutes in my legs.

“If we manage to secure promotion to Serie A, I will be happy to stay for a long time.

“I am ready to get going and I am relishing the thought of playing alongside Cristiano Lucarelli.

“Pippo Inzaghi was the first to wish me luck and he told me that he will follow my progress and will come and see me at the Stadio Tardini because it is so close.”

As for other trimming news, Oddo is sent to Bayern Munich for a loan deal with an option to buy out the player at the end of the season, although Oddo vows that he will return back to Milan. Another youngster Aubameyang is sent to Serie-B side Avellino on a loan deal. While Brocchi signs a deal with Lazio.

Kaka finally speaks after weeks of struggling with an inflammation of the knee tendon. Here us what he had to say:

“I am feeling much better and in the final stages of the physiotherapy,”

“In a few days I’ll be able to start training with the squad and get ready to begin the campaign. I think that after the break for international duty I’ll be in shape to play.”

Its good news for us, as the injury looked quite serious back then. He then talks about the recent speculation made by the English papers for his move to Chelsea:

I found this picture while surfing for AC Milan news. Breathtaking beautiful aint it, I guess its a blessing. Why not grab the picture, it will make an awesome wallpaper no doubt!

As for me, I am starting to make some small edits in the site. I moved the search function up for easier searching; added a Serie-A table on the right (which will update once the season starts) and finally added a music play list which are some of my favorite songs, why not listen to some cool rock music while reading AC Milan goodness? We might add different playlists for each of us later.

Shevchenko returns "home"

We just signed back Shevchenko from Chelsea. His return is treated with a mixed reaction from the fans, while most are happy to have him back considering the spectacular campaign he had with us, in which he won numerous prestigious awards with the likes of Kaka and Ronaldinho.

Personally I myself having mixed reaction on his return. While I know he betrayed the club who has supported him and made him what he is now. People make mistakes, and its never too late to remedy them. And we must remember the caliber of a player he was during his early days at Milan, easily one of the best center forwards in the modern times. Hopefully with him returning to Milan, we will see the old Sheva back.

He will undergo a medical and is expected to be revealed in the press that day.

Here is what Shevchenko had to say upon his arrival:

“I am so happy,” said Shevchenko on Milan Channel. “I had been hoping to return for some time and yesterday already imagined this negotiation could reach a positive conclusion.

“For me this is like winning the Champions League. There were some complications, but now everything is resolved and I am truly happy.

There are rumors that Shevchenko will be returning to Milan in a permanent basis as Milan looks for another striker. But really, do you people want a player who Milan treated like a a family, in fact Shevchenko was thought to follow the footsteps of Maldini and become a club legend by himself. But he left us and now he wants to wear our jersey just for his own sake. I honestly dont think there is ant room for him, we got the strikers we need, if we need one its definitely not gonna be him. Grace87 really wanted me to take the post, as she believes that Alberto Paloschi have what it takes to be in the Milan side, she was right. The match was pretty boring, it should as Milan fielded 90% inexperienced side while resting the key players for the upcoming season. Just when everyone thought the game would go onto the penalities, Paloschi out of no where came out with the header that gave Milan a 1-0 victory over the team from Naples.

Uruguayan import Mathias Cardacio and home grown talents Michelangelo Albertazzi and Matteo Darmian played well. Its good to see our young players doing good, as if we are to have a good compaign, we need to have strenght in the bench. All the recent results says we do so.

I hope this shows the importance of Paloschi in our squad for the upcoming. I still highly doubt Milan even considered selling the player (loan maybe), as their new policy seams to getting yong players out to the field. But you can always sign the petition just to be safe (on the previous post).

Roma's chairman Franco Sensi aged 82 died this sunday.Surely its a great blow to the Roma fans,players and officials.May he rest in peace.Roma lost a great man cause he made Roma a worhty rival for Milan and a great club in Italian Football.

Its been a long time since I wrote my last blog...Now lets get to the business...

First of all congratulation to Milan for winning the 18th edition Luigi Berlusconi Trophy,which is named after Silvio's father...

Even though its a friendly game...but who cares we won against Juventus...not just a mere win,a great 4-1 thrashing to those suckers.The best thing is Milan didn't played with their main squad.Players like Kaka,Nesta,Maldini,Boriello,Kaladze,Pato,
Ronaldinho were missing.Just imagine if they were present in the squad.On the other hand Juventus fielded a strong squad players like Del Piero,Sissoko,Nedved,Poulsen,
Amauri.All of them played that match.

For the first 20mins.Juve dominated the game.At 21st min. Jankulovski made a great run and fired a shot from 20 meter...WHAM! its a goal,totally fooled the keeper.
Then 4 mins. later Ambrosini scored with a beautiful header with assist from Seedorf's cross.

Then came Inzaghi in the second half,finally recovered from injury and still got the lethal touch to score goals.At 52nd min. another great assist from Seedorf with a beautiful cross to Inzaghi to score a header.Then at the 70th min. finally Juve got a goal from young Pasquato,the young man's effort still didn't help Juve.Cause at the 80th Milan wrapped up the game by Ambrosini's top corner.

Finally a great victory for Milan fans and also especially for Ambrosini and Inzaghi,
they are sending a message to Lippi that their time isn't over,they still got plenty of juice left to serve the Azzuries...

Milan crushes Juventus 4-1 in the Trofeo Berlusconi

In the friendly tradtional match between Milan and Juventus, Milan continued their long winning streak in the competition by crushing in-form Juventus 4-1, thanks to a brace and assist from Ambrosini.

I must say this comes as a surprise due to the recent form of both teams towards the pre-season end. But from what I've seen, Milan is back with their style of football by containing the game and finished Juventus off with a counterattack which Ambrosini chipped it into the far corner, similar to the Del Piero goal in the World Cup of 2006. Seedorf and another Ambro goal followed later in the match. Juventus pushed forward in numbers, but thanks to great goal-keeping and a good CB partnership between Bonera and Favali, we only conceded 1 goal, but held on the 4-1 margin. Good show by the team, and Ambrosini with the man of the match without any question.

It was a very good response, hopefully once our top players become available, we can continue this type of form throughout the season. With that being said, Milan really needs a first choice CB regardless, Carlo Ancellotti said himself in an interview.

Ok guys where can we start. Just received my A Level grades, it aint that bad. Anyways lets move on.

Good news is that the Milan duo Dhino and Pato are firing all guns in the Olympics. You can be sure to repeat that performance when they come back to Italy.

Dario Simic is transfered to Monacco, good luck to him and thanks for his service over the years! Milan are trying to loan out Chelsea defender Ivanovic to reinforce their defence for the time being.

Here is the bad news with the recent events of Russia invading Georgia. You might know that AC Milan defender Kaladze is Georgian himself and you can understand the emotions he is going through. He in a conference pleads for the help form US and will try to talk with his good friend Silvio (Italian president and owner of our AC Milan), as he has great influence over the European union. I just hope the war ends as soon as possible, there is no need for things to go out reach.

Despite the defeat, In my opinion Milan have improved drastically over their defeat against Chelsea. As you have keep in mind that 2/3 of our squad is still out of action, not to mention we are playing with only 1 young inexperienced striker. Also the fact that the goal was one of those which you simply can do anything about it, no matter how good you are, it was really a good defeat.

With that said, Milan needs to get thier squad back together and improve the fitness level, something I must agree that the English teams have the upper hand foe the last few seasons. Dida played ok, but still Abbiati would come ahead of him if you would judge by the recent performance of the keepers for your season selection. There are still ways of, we must practice harder on the field and develop a solid team chemistry with the new signings and only then we are good to go.

TWO TALENTED PLAYERS FROM URUGUAY

MILAN officially signed two talented young national players from Uruguay.AC Milan - Breaking News: Titolo della Breaking News Mathias Cardacio whose age is only 20 and plays in midfield.He previously played for Nacional,the best football club in Uruguay.His playing style is more or less like Pirlo.

AC Milan - Breaking News: Titolo della Breaking NewsTabaré Viudez is the other player from Uruguay he is only 18 and plays in forward position his playing style is more or less like a second striker.He previously played for Defensor Sporting another great football club in Uruguay.I hope this guy shines early cause currently Milan is having problem in the forward position because of injury and Olympics.

Both were discovered by scout Daniel Fonseca this is what he says about the two players:

Ancelloti talks about recent performance

Carlo Ancelotti talked about Milan's injury crisis, admitting the team have serious problems in defence. The Rossoneri's coach held a meeting with manager Adriano Galliani yesterday after the team's disastrous 5-0 defeat to Chelsea.

"Right now we have quite a few problems in defence, so we can't think about the attack yet," said Ancelotti.

At the moment Milan are missing Kaká, Marco Borriello, Filippo Inzaghi, and Alexandre Pato and Ronaldinho, who are both involved in the Olympics.

"Even though Paolo Maldini is 40 years old now and he's coming off a long-term injury, he's still reliable. Also Daniele Bonera is a guarantee," the coach continued.

Kalac's poor showing upped the chances of Abbiati as the 1st choice keeper, although there is still someone else left for showing.

"We have three first choice goalkeepers. During this period we are looking at them and so far Abbiati has certainly done better than Kalac. Now we'll see how Dida performs," Ancelotti concluded.

We seriously need to buy atleast 1 centre back before this transfer window closes if are to keep up in the Scudetto race. And then when Jan comes, we will have to look at another CB. But for now, we desperately need a new centre back asap.

The 5-0 drubbing against Chelsea proved one thing for us, sure the reason we didn't score is because we had no strikers available at the match. But we also conceeded 5 goals which highlights the fact that we are a desperate need of a centre back. Alex Silva fits the bill perfectly.

he 23-year-old stopper is strong, powerful and has pace in abundance, qualities that are needed in Milan’s aging backline.

Carlo Ancelotti recently declared the market as closed for his side but there may be room for one last transfer.

Il Diavolo have the Scudetto stuck in their minds for this season and they are desperate to halt Inter’s dominance in Serie A, in which case, a stopper is needed to boost their chances of success.

At Moscow, all new Milan was stumped 5-0 by Chelsea in a friendly match for 3rd place playoffs. The scoreline may be hugely daunting, but understandable the fact that Chelsea fielded 1st team, while Milan with long injury list had to create a completely different look for the squad by shuffling Pirlo and Ambrosini further up front while Jankulovski and Zambrotta played in the midfield......yep it was pretty f***** up and payed the price for it. Kaka limbed off in the match and his injury could be more serious and could be out for atleast 2 weeks. Hope everything comes together for us and Ancelloti said that their "Summer Holiday is over" and now its time to work on with the squad.

Also it should be mentioned that Kalac played awful, I guess it improves the chances for Abbiati and Dida for wearing the # 1 jersey.

Update at Moscow

A third string Milan lost to Sevilla at Moscow by a unlucky Gattuso own-goal on the 47 minute. Also another factor contributed to the defeat was the fact that our lack of finishing upfront, with the only striker being the in-experienced Alberto Paloschi. Our goalie Abbiati also impressed with a string of saves from the attacking Sevilla. Personally there is nothing to be worried about, its pre-season and players tend to take these matches a way to gain fitness levels rather than to win the game. Also considering the only reason we conceeded and failed upfront is the lack of 1st and 2nd string players is completely understandable. Its a good peroid for giving small third string players some match experience without en-dangering anything.

Besides, at least we lost to Sevilla a decent Spanish side. Chelsea on the other hand lost to a Russian club called Lokomotivof Moscow. Our next match will be the battle for third place as we take on the Londoners.

Milan had a great start for the upcoming season by winning the TIM CUP.Its a triangular tournament each match consists of 45 mins.AC MILAN,INTER MILAN and JUVENTUS had a great battle at this tourney.

The first match was between Milan and Juventus.Milan took an early lead,Seedorf scored at the 6th min. with a thunderous shot.But the lead didn't last long a min. Trezeguet scored with a simple tap from the cross of Marchionni.Juventus doubled their lead in the 11th min. by Marchionni with a header.Then in 41 min Seedorf came to Milan's rescue by scoring with a great shot.The game rolled towards the penalties,which Milan won 6-4.

Next match was between Inter and Juventus.Juventus won.

The last match was between Milan and Inter.Abbiati and Kaka played very well at this match,while Inter's Figo and Muntari were also enjoying the game.The match ended goalless,the winner wast decided by the penalties.Kaka,Digao,Jankulovski,Brocchi scored for the Milan thus Milan won 4-3 against Inter.

MILAN and Juventus had same points but Milan WON because of its head to head record.Juve become 2nd and Inter 3rd.

The matches were held at Turin in Juventus's home turf.Most of the spectators are Juve fans,thats why they were constantly verbal abusing Milan and Inter players.Since Milan is not a sissy club like Milan,Ancelotti responded the abuse by showing the Juve fans what they deserve a middle finger gesture towards the Juve fans,a message to them to FUCK OFF.This might put Ancelotti in hot water with the footballing authorities,he even appologised for this.But who cares me as a proud Rossoneri fan believe that he did the right thing...

Dinho inspires Brazil win

In the Beijing Olympics, the newest Milan signing and Brazillian ace Ronaldhino is making huge strides in the tournament, to prove that he'z still the real deal to the naysayers everywhere. In a warm up match against Singapore (hey...they are not all that bad), he created a goal for Diego with a fantastic flick. And scored himself with a close range shot. Brazil went on winning the game 3-0 with the third coming from a guy called Joe... I mean Jo in the 84th minute.

Whats great to see is the fitness level of Dinho at this early level, the guy played a full 90 minutes in pre-season. That's really impressive for a guy who is considered to be overweight not a few months back.

Pato, inspired by Ronaldinho

Alexandre Pato looks to seek inspiration from the 2 time FIFA world player of the year, Brazilian trickster Ronaldinho. Both of the the guys are playing for their national team Brazil in the Olympics, with news that Ronaldinho is given the captain's armband.

"I always talk with him. Considering what he represents, it is only logical that we all expect a great deal from him,” said the 18-year-old.

“He is a touchstone for us all because he is Ronaldinho. It is natural that we would all look to him for inspiration.”
“I always try to score goals, but my real dream is to win,” insisted The Duck.
“I hope to score a goal per game in Beijing and become top scorer with six strikes. As for Milan, I am happy to hear what Ancelotti said, but I don’t feel like gambling on a prediction.”

Both of them playing for the Olympics will improve their play alot when they come back to Italy. Not only they are gaining valuable experience, but also forming a partnership between Dinho and Pato. If they keep developing their partnership, and together with KAKA, this will surely put fears into the hearts of the big clubs all across Europe.

Kalac given Milan gloves

Kalac is given the gloves as the first choice goalkeeper for Milan during the start of the season. Which means he was handpicked from the likes of Nelson Dida and Christian Abbiati.

“We have established a hierarchy of goalkeepers and Carlo Ancelotti drew it up,” revealed general manager Galliani.

“I think that at this stage we can say we're starting with Kalac, then Abbiati while we wait to evaluate Dida's condition, as he is undergoing a recovery programme.”

Despite Kalac not directly comparable to the likes of his team mates, its a smart move. Think about it, Kalac had the most match experience of the three wearing the Milan jersey during recent times, he knows the team tactics better than the rest of the two. So we could start the season with him, while the Milan staff can evaluate Dida (whether he is still afraid of incoming ball or not) and give Abbiati more time in training to get him up the speed during the crucial mid half of the season. I personally want to see Abbiati wearing the Milan jersey as quick as possible, he had a fantastic season with Juve a few 2 years back and a great spell at Spain. For once in a long time, Milan have a good line-up of goalkeepers, we should never under estimate the importance of strong reserve goal keepers, just ask Chelsea :P.

Despite being out of Champions League, Zambrotta is determined to win everything there is to win and with the help of his new team mate Ronaldhino, together with the likes of KAKA, Pirlo, Pato, Inzaghi, Seedorf, its not far strecthed to show that ambition.

My name is Adnan Ahmed, my friend Rafquat and I will do our best to bring up to date the latest news from Milan. 1^st thing we should mention that we are die-hard fans of AC Milan, in fact we are probably the smallest minority of Milan supporters in our East India region, we are Bangladeshis but we know our football really well. We will try to bring the latest from Milanello with a personal touch. Unlike countless AC Milan blogs around the web, we will try our best to do things un professionally, after all lets face it, if we keep it professional, we will be like countless other blogs around the web, which we are trying to avoid, our main motto is to bring the latest form Milan while keeping things fun. Even the design of the site is different from your usual Red/Black color scheme.

Lest talk briefly about the design a bit. I designed the site, instead of going with the usual Red/Black design; I went for a completely new, refreshing design. I don't know about you guys, but the 1^st thing that pops in my mind when we talk about Milan is…Class. Being the fashion capital of the world, Milan should be treated differently than all other clubs, including the ever lame Nerazzuri. So to express class, I went with a classic gold design with "Vintage" to further elaborate the premium nature of our wonderful club. I hope you like this design.
